THE BROWN BAG CLUB
HOMELESSNESS IN GEORGIA
A report by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs shows in 2015, the state of Georgia had at least 13,790 people who were literally homeless (a 19% decrease from 2013). This includes people living in emergency shelters, transitional housing for the homeless, or a hotel or motel with the stay being paid for by an organization.
In addition to people who were literally homeless, other people are living in motels, hotels, or are doubled up with friends or family. They may move frequently among temporary living arrangements.
The unifying condition for virtually all of Georgia's homeless population is poverty.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
WHAT WE DO
The Brown Bag Club partners with food organizations to prepare meals and bag lunches for the homeless populations.
We also help support needy families in communities to help prevent homelessness through other support groups and Churches in the IWM outreaches.
We are currently serving approximately 20 families a month and helping to service 200 plus a week at homeless shelters along with others in food donations.
As available - we also supply – blankets and socks and toiletries.
YOU CAN HELP
In this season, we have the opportunity to double
and even triple our efforts.
Your monetary donations will help The Brown Bag Club increase our reach and be more of a blessing for the needy and homeless.
Each donation of $20.00 helps to feed a family of 4 for one week.

Thank you in advance for considering the needy. Jesus promises you will never lose your reward.
