Living in this present world with its many dictates and demands, women especially need the unction of the Holy One to function and deal wisely with the affairs of this life. The Word of God declares that the anointing shall break and destroy every yoke of bondage and will remove from you the burdens that weigh you down. So, what is the anointing? 
 

Psalm 119:50 amplified version says, "This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life or quickened me (KJV).   David confirms this in Psalm 92:10 saying, But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn:  I shall be anointed with fresh oil.  In the amplified version of the Bible it reads like this, "But my horn (emblem of excessive strength and stately grace) You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil".  Glory to God!  He has given unto us "Excessive Strength" upon and within. 

 

David is here referring to what God has done for him with regard to his enemies and evildoers.   Since the Old Testament is a type and shadow of the New, we understand that our enemy today is not necessarily people, but the negative circumstances and situations set up against us by Satan and his cohorts to cause us to become so weary of this life that we give up the race.  Hey its a smoke screen hiding the victory on the other side.

 

This race of life has not been given to those who are swift but unto those who endure until the end.  Why not turn in your Bible and read Ecclesiastes 9:11  "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 

 

That being true, Hallelujah, we have the promise of the anointing of God in Isaiah 27:10 which states "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing".  In what day, this day through Jesus Christ, the anointed one and His anointing. 

 

Now, when we confess we understand and say that  "The sum of Your word is truth (the total of the full meaning of all Your individual precepts); and every one of Your righteous decrees endures forever" (Psalm 119:160 AMP) and Lord whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope and this through the anointing. (Rom 15:4) 

 

Did you know that the anointing of God has been abundantly supplied for each of us in the person of Jesus Christ? 

(Philippians 1:19 - For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,)

 

The Word of God is truth. Jesus further solidifies this in His statement to the Jews that believed in him.  In John 8:31-32 it says, "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free".   We have the truths of the Bible to help us to be able to continue to handle the everyday pressures of this life. 

 

Ladies because I know you can relate.  Think with me... house, home, family, husband, children, work, ministry and on and on it goes.  Everybody pulls on us to do many, many things that sometimes we are not even equipped naturally to handle but because we are mothers, wives, friends, co-workers, committee person and so on; we are expected to be all things to all people in our role as "Woman". 

 

My point here is that without the anointing to "Live" we can crack under all this pressure and demonstrate to the world an image of Christ that is not real. 

 

Remember Psalm 91:4-5 says, "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shall thou trust; his truth shall be thy shield and buckler Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 

 

Today, won't you look unto Jesus who is the author and developer of your faith.  Who in Christ will perfect (mature you) in all those things concerning just you? 

 

Allow His power and His authority to be upon and within you by trusting God to be God!  Turn it over. 

Your Destiny in God awaits - Go for it!!!   May the Lord strengthen and keep you always.
