His Glory is Equal to His Goodness (Part 2)

Glory is generally defined as the manifested excellence of God. When we trust Him, we bring glory to his name by the wonderful ways that he brings the actual manifestations of his goodness and blessings into our lives for all to see.

It was said of Jacob that the increase of his flocks under the instruction of God was termed as “glory” – for the excellence of God had manifested on his behalf. You see, it brings glory to God as creator, as well as in us when we obey and give him back the praise due His name.

Glory is a direct result of our intimate knowledge of and fellowship with the Father. Moses said show me your glory and God said I will allow my goodness to pass by you. For you cannot look on me and live.

Even so, we understand that through Christ, there is a greater glory according to Ephesians 1:3 available for us to experience when we seek and begin to realize that we right now are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

How so? In John 15 Jesus advises us to abide (remain, live with him) so that whatsoever we ask, God will do it for us because we have received the Son. How boldly we go to the throne is the key to how we abide with him, sup with him. Meditating on the word so it pops up in us like popcorn in every situation and circumstance we face in the heat of life. This closeness is maintained through prayer.

When we obey the callings on our lives, His greater glory is revealed in the spiritual and natural works of our hands – for we are his workmanship and He is creating in us both the will and the do to manifest His glory. Knowing that we cannot accomplish anything on our own, we ask that we might receive, we seek that we might know and we knock so that every door to more of His glory and goodness is revealed to us.

Salvation reveals his glory, deliverance, wholeness, soundness, completeness, nothing missing, nothing lacking. We are healed, delivered, made free through the manifestations of his glory being revealed through yielded vessels on behalf of those in need. I encourage you to:

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver. For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.

May the God of the heavenly armies reveal to you His Glory and His Goodness that you may overcome all your Goliaths and live within His kingdom perspectives. Blessings.
